Mr. Tony Chalhoub is a world-leading consultant gynaecologist and internationally recognised authority in robotic-assisted and laparoscopic surgery, offering expert, holistic, and patient-centred care across the full spectrum of gynaecological conditions. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
Now based in London, Mr. Chalhoub is affiliated with prestigious hospitals including The Princess Grace Hospital (HCA) and Parkside Hospital (Nuffield Health), St Anthony (Spire) and serves as an NHS Consultant at St George’s University Hospital. He is the founder and former director of the Northern Centre for Endometriosis, where he led the service to national accreditation and significantly improved outcomes for patients with complex gynaecological needs.
With over 27 years of experience and specialist training in the USA and UK, Mr. Chalhoub has performed over 1,500 robotic procedures, including over 750 robotic hysterectomies. His outcomes include a 99% same-day discharge rate, less than 1% complication rate, and zero conversions to open surgery, establishing him as a pioneer in transforming hysterectomy care into a safe and effective day-case procedure. He holds BSc, MSc, MD, MRCOG, and DFFP qualifications and is currently Chair of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).
Mr. Chalhoub specialises in managing complex gynaecological conditions such as deep infiltrating endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, irregular or heavy periods, and fertility-related challenges. He also provides expert assessment and management of hereditary cancers, including BRCA1, BRCA2, and Lynch syndrome (HNPCC).
